it's 20.04.2026, i'm sitting at the apple store on fifth ave. i thought of this page on the Q train uptown just now...
years ago, i streamed an indie game called kind words on twitch. in this game, you write a letter and send it as a paper plane through a digital sky, someone can catch your plane and read it, or respond to longer letters delivered by a deer postman. i wrote to strangers for hours, exchanging words of comfort and advice
years ago, i made a tweet that said "continue to do things that make you remember yourself". i turned the tweet into a sticker and one of my dearest friends still has it on her phone
since that time, my idea of what it means to remember myself has changed... but since i was 10, i liked to play with my website, i liked words, photos, videos, pixels
i like to connect in ways that feel comfortable and intimate to me

I'm so happy that we got to spend more time together in Taipei over the past year. I have so many memories from growing up there, but even with a child's rampant imagination, never would I have thought that I would be so lucky to (25 years later) have a friend like you.
I'm so grateful for our conversations. Whether around the firepit at sustain or zhongshan park, wherever we meet you always leave me with a piece of wisdom and something to chew on.
